Field Notes

Description:

White baby moths.

Habitat:

Spotted on young avocado leaves in backyard.

Notes:

There were so many I had to move them over so I could find a place to stand and take photos! I was disappointed I couldn't get better shots, but they're so small! They were all over me afterwards too!

Thanks for the ID! The Whiteflies aren't that bad in my garden. They stay in the same area way from the house, so we don't have a problem with them. :)
I know that at Disney they would sometimes use a vacuum to suck up adult whiteflies if the infestation was bad!
Its a common Pupa of some kind of moths. Larvae seen inside. Such webs seen in shrub leafs.
