Field Notes

Notes:

Although I often hear them I almost never see them since they prefer to stay high up in the tops of trees. I was surprised one day when this male flew down to eye height and sat for just long enough for me to snap a few pictures. It was exciting to get a plain eye view of a bird I'd only observed through binoculars before.
