Description:

Black rough exoskeleton insect that plays dead when touched.

Habitat:

Most areas of the backyard. This one was on a rock in a dry section of the yard.

Impressive. Loks like made of iron. The name fits perfect.
No problem haha. Personally, I think it's a beautiful beetle: the texture of its back and stout body definitely show the reasons why they're called ironclad beetles!
