Description:

Snails are born with shells and grow with them. Its shell is really pretty :) and the snail was pretty curious too!

Habitat:

I found this in a small hole in a wall. Snails don’t like sunlight that much...

Notes:

Snails are really cool creatures that were created. This species was actually brought to Hawaii from Africa. They can grow up to 8 inches in length.

Nice spotting. I hadn't given much thought about snails growing with their shells. Very interesting. This isn't a native Hawaiian species, but still pretty awesome. http://bytemarks.org/2009/09/13/native-hawaiian-snail-not/
