Field Notes

Description:

White viscid, conical cap while young darkening to gold with darker gold at centre of cap in maturity. Stipe is smooth and white with no ring.
Spore print is medium brown.

Habitat:

Pacific Westcoast rainforest - forest duff beside our driveway near cedars, big leaf maples and other mixed forest.
