Description:

This butterfly belongs to the Nymphalidae family. The white marks along with the wings with the central red area make it easy to be identified.

Habitat:

This picture was taken in San Isidro, 20 Km from Buenos Aires. But other records were taken in Misiones province, so the range of distribution is broad, along the Parana River.
