Field Notes

Description:

Correct me if I'm wrong. This may be the short-billed Dowitcher but this species is more common here. This bird is gray/tan with a bill that's at least twice as long as its head. I wasn't planning on birding so I only brought a macro lens but this is a new-to-me bird that I couldn't resist capturing on camera.

Habitat:

Lagoon
