Hi, Mark. This looks like it could be just the molt of a dragonfly that was left behind when the animal emerged and flew away. If that's the case, then the spotting can go to the Arthropods category. Whenever you spot something that's FROM an animal (such as feces, tracks, a web, a nest, etc.), it can go in the category for that animal. Since this belongs to an insect, I've gone ahead and have moved it to Arthropods for you. Please consider the "Signs of Wildlife" mission for this type of spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/7208491 Now, if this is actually the insect itself and not just an exuvia (molt), then it goes into Arthropods and the "Signs of Wildlife" mission is not appropriate. Make sense? I hope so because it seemed confusing as I typed it! ;-)
