Description:

These cute little salamanders reach a maximum size of only 9 cm (3.5 in). The epithet quadridigitatat is to denote that each of its feet has four toes.

Habitat:

Low swampy areas, margins of pine savanna ponds, bottomland forests. Hides under logs or other debris during day.
