Habitat:

Europe with the exception of the northern parts, eastwards across Asia Minor and Transcaucasia as far as the Arabian peninsula, Indus valleys of Pakistan, and western China

These guys getting quite rare, at least in some parts of europe. Very nice captured.
Beautifully clear picture, swallowtails regularly seem happy to pose for photos. :) Not sure what the difference is between scarce swallowtail and tiger swallowtail, but I know they are definitely called scarce swallowtails here in Europe (my spotting of one http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6903057).
@Alice: Thanks. As far as I understand the "Tiger Swallowtail" can be found in Northern America almost only. In Europe the similar typ of butterfly is called "Scarce Swallowtail". I do not know if they are the same species with two different names or two species/subspecies...
Tiger Swallowtail. We have had numerous pictures of this Butterfly on Noah, but perhaps not from your country.
