Field Notes

Description:

Identified by majorly white underparts and blue-black upperparts. Smaller than a swallow, makes its nests out of mud under the eaves of buildings.

Habitat:

Widespread, nests in colonies on buildings. Often feeds over water.

Notes:

Not a brilliant photo, but these fellars were posing outside my house. I was going to crop it to just the ones sat on the line until I saw to the top and bottom left showing off! I would have taken more shots, but a car made them all disappear!
