Field Notes

Description:

Large spider with red, brown, white, yellow, and black coloring. It has a square-type shape on its bottom and has multi-colored striped legs.

Habitat:

Spotted in backyard living in Aloe vera.

Notes:

I checked on this little guy a few times after his photo shoot, after a few days he moved on to another home and I haven't seen him since, but I've seen several of this same species.

Does anyone know what species this is?
Originally, I thought this could be a wolf spider, but now I'm clueless!!
They are all the same, I took them all this morning. I had to scoop him up in a cup before he ran away. This is the fastest spider I've ever seen!!
