Description:

Adult Patagonian Mara (Cavy) resting at our small local zoo. Will never have a chance to see one in the wild so I appreciate our zoo bringing them closer to me.

I use to tell people they were jackalopes lol we had to remove their antlers. That's not true though, and I would correct it before I'd leave them to look. I loved my job.
