Field Notes

Description:

Gray butterfly with brown/black spots on wings. There is brown on the top of the head. "Underwing gray with 2 black spots near base of HW, prominent postmedian band, and short tails. Male has a dark patch on dorsal side of each FW."

Habitat:

Goldenbush at lagoon. Found in the US in southern California, Texas and Florida.
