Description:

monitor lizard is a common sighting on the island of Tioman, Malaysia. size ranging from about a foot to 5 feet. often seen digging the ground looking for worms, grubs, etc. unperturbed by human presence and the large ones could be quite intimidating, due to their size.

Habitat:

swampy area, bushes, beach side.

Notes:
