This organism is truly amazing - great series of pictures. From Sago to extruded beetroot ! Thanks for the pics.
I've often seen the "chocolate tubes" but I was completely stumped by the white tapioca-like slime when I saw it. Imagine my surprise when I revisited it a day later and found what it had become. Now I always try and visit any slime colonies I spot over a couple of days.
Execllent! I love the stalked sporangia producing structures. They clearly show where their name comes from.
