Spotted in woods along Shubenacadie Canal, taken with Canon Rebel EOS XS w/ EF-S 55-250mm IS Zoom Lens.

Thanks! The Shubenacadie Canal park is full of squirrels and chipmunks, visitors often feed them so they are very confident around humans. Before getting this photo, I saw a man crouched on the ground surrounded by squirrels and chipmunks, a few of them even crawled on him to be fed. Although I don't agree with feeding wild animals (working at one of the few places nearby that takes in injured wildlife, I saw far too many birds that were fed bread, and small mammals fed cow milk), it is still a neat place to get close to the silly creatures.
