I think it is a difficult one to identify. Anyway I will go with the "Black slug" option. Sorry for the late update!!!

Cool spotting. Yeah, I doubt you see much action with 2 slugs mating (snicker) :-D

Thanks Dan, quite an education, but I think it looks exactly what we are looking for and opened up a new world of some slugs.

Thanks Alice and dandoucette for your help. I was there like 10 minutes making pictures and 'it' didn't move at all. Taking a look to the dandoucette spotting I can see this should be 2 slugs mating... But, of course, I am not 100% sure :-)

Actually Alice, I think I have seen this before, just a few weeks ago. It looks like 2 slugs mating. Check out the last 2 photos in my spotting. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6892707

I lightened your picture so I could see what you were talking about. It looks like a snake climbing the tree and yet it looks like a cobweb around the head as if it had not moved. Did you see anything moving?
