Notes:

Lupinus genus, although I'm unsure of the species. Spotted in a field near Lake Charlotte in Nova Scotia, Canada. Taken with Canon Rebel EOS XS w/ EF-S 55-250mm IS Zoom Lens. Taken with Canon Rebel EOS XS w/ EF-S 55-250mm IS Zoom Lens.

I use Paint.net because it's free and simple. :) Photoshop, although it has more features, is just too pricey for me, especially considering I very rarely use photo editing tools for anything more than contrast/brightness editing.
It was a very sunny day, and this was taken beside the water. I boosted the contrast very slightly in Paint.net, but the conditions already made for vibrant colors. :)
Yes, approximately 9-12 inches tall I would say, stem included.
Its the right colour for a wild lupin - usually fairly short?
