Description:
This is either a Typhlops sp. or a Ramphotyphlops sp. blind snake.
Habitat:
The house is in a semi-urban situation with yards, gardens and a nearby disturbed remnant of forest.
Notes:
We encounter this species fairly frequently inside the house. They are very fast moving but cannot gain traction on the smooth tile floor.
