Description:
The appearance and dimensions vary greatly depending on the subspecies in general, the typical background color is light reddish brown with typical dorsal spots on chair in the front, and triangular in the posterior third, these spots are blackish-brown or reddish edged black and white, the tail ends typically (especially in ortonii Bc) with large red spots.
Habitat:
Widespread in Central and South America, from central Mexico to Argentina.
