Field Notes

Description:

The Grey Squirrel is a medium sized squirrel that lives in the eastern part of North America. A very energetic animal, no matter how hard you try, you will NEVER keep a squirrel out of your bird feeder. However, this particular squirrel is very unique, it lacks the Grey pigment that gives it it's name.

Habitat:

Woodland to Urban areas

Notes:

Legened has it of a white squirrel that is said to bring good luck. Soon after I saw this squirrel, A heavy rain fell, ending the very long, and very hot drought that had been impacting Talahassee for the last month. Who knows, maybe the Legends are true...
