Description:

Hemiptera: Tessaratomidae resemble large shield / stink bugs (Pentatomidae). Possible nymph of this species can be seen at: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6990546

Habitat:

Observed in a large semi-urban yard & garden next to a disturbed remnant patch of forest, in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
