Field Notes

This moth was brown winged with yellow and white stripe.

Habitat:
Today, my backyard Lantanna was host to about 7 different moths and one butterfly in the span of about 15 minutes.
Notes:
"The Silver-spotted Skipper almost never visits yellow flowers but favors blue, red, pink, purple, and sometimes white and cream-colored ones. These include everlasting pea, common milkweed, red clover, buttonbush, blazing star, and thistles." - http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/species/Epargyreus-clarus
