Eastern Wild Turkey

I often walk in the woods and rarely am I with out my camera and binoculars. I happened to spot a flock of wild Turkeys from roughly 1000 yards away. I had to sneak through the woods and up through a point on the edge of the hard woods. As I was snapping the photos, the dominant Tom, heard my shutter clicking, and literally strutted up to within fifteen feet of me. I can only guess that the sound of my shutter sounded much like the drumming of the feathers of another displaying Tom.

I have roughly 20 pictures in this series, some are a bit blurred due to the intensity of the moment, using a telephoto lens, and not having my tripod out and ready. LOL I hope you enjoy!!!
