Description:

Brown with bright red chest, like the forehead with a stripe above the eye and rump. The narrow dark striped flanks and belly are the best clue to identification.

Habitat:

Miscellaneous: towns, ranches, open woodlands, shrubs, coastal canyons, deserts.
