Field Notes

Description:

This seed and grass is in my back yard. There was winter-rye planted last winter. It appeared to die out this summer when the heat stayed above 75 degrees F at night. It was getting up to the 90s during the days and all of it was yellowing and getting crunchy. I mowed it low. This grass popped up behind it after a few weeks of lightening and rains. The humidity is like normal. The seeds heads are orange-red-yellow. The last picture, I focused on the blades of the grass.
