Description:

Pottiaceae family of moss: This is the most numerous moss family found, containing almost 1500 species or more than 10% of the 10,000-15,000 of all moss families known.
It is a small, soft plant and possesses spore capsules at certain times.
Found at Eagle Lake Watershed.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest
