Field Notes

Description:

Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, packed closely togeter forming pulvinate sporodochia, mostly umbranched, rather pale brown, septate. Conidia: catenate, dry, acrogenous, pale to mid olivaceous brown, smooth, 1 septate; fron a point just beneath the septum, a lateral bud forms which develops into a second conidium, and this may be repeated with te formation of a third conidium, Before the conidia finally separate the chains have the appearance of being branched conidia.” (Ellis,M.B. Notes:

Deighton clasifico a este hongo como Ascomiceto, anamorfo de Pezizaceae, pero aparentemente no hay referencias al estado perfecto, menos fotografias. En esta se pueden observar los ascocarpos tipo Peziza mezclados con los esporodoquios.
