Description:

Hemiptera: Tessaratomidae resemble large, shield / stink bugs (Pentatomidae). This spotting looks like: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6998404 except this new specimen is colored tan not green. Possible nymph of this species can be seen at: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6990546

Habitat:

Large semi-urban yard/garden next to a disturbed remnant patch of forest.
