Please help me Id this plant from the Melastomaceae family.

Hi RiveraDiego, thank you very much. But, I am not sure if plants of Tibouchina genus are there in India. Its definitely from the family Melastomaceae.

Hi Dilan, I wouldn't say that .You and Dan are probably right. It's just that I am not sure :)
I am not sure if it is M.malabathricum, the leaves here look broader. Maybe because they are growing in well nourished soil, but not sure.
Thank you Dan, there are so many many different species around and I always get confused.
It may hard to get to the species level, but it looks a bit like Melastoma malabathricum.
