Description:

I found this bug in my walk in Gatineau Park, Quebec. The bright patterns of this insect warns predators of their awful taste.
Adults also suck fluids from dead insects and attack eggs of swamp milkweed leaf beetles.

Habitat:

They live in meadows, gardens and fields.
