Description:

This white small heron (medium egret) has a dark bill and legs. It has nice plumage that may be lost in the color of the surf.

Habitat:

Wetlands. Spotted along the Fl gulf coast.

Notes:

The Snowy Egret is protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
