Description:

About an inch long. Initially thought I was looking at a blue bottle fly on the underside of a leaf but upon closer inspection, there was this juvenile praying mantis clutching the fly!

Was able to move it to my hand after the fly was able to fly off, to photograph it for better size perspective. Any help on ID would be appreciated :-)

This looks like a Tropidomantis tenera mantis nymph to me. Check out this link: http://taxo4254.wikispaces.com/Tropidomantis+tenera
Thanks. One of those unexpected moments :-)
