Field Notes

Habitat:

Old barn and field preserved in the Tynehead Regional Park, Surrey, BC. So happy to see Barn Swallows around this barn! We used to see a lot more of them in our area than we do now.

Notes:

3 fledglings and 1 adult. Hope the other adult was still around to help with the feeding schedule!

Thanks Karen. There are actually 3 fledglings here and the last one is the adult that was feeding them and encouraging them to fly.
Except for the last shot, you found a youngster! So cute! (Note the yellow edges at the base of the beak...)
