it was an encounter by accident - unfortunately a real accident. The bird must have hit a window or something. As I was spotting it, it was on the ground (but on it's feet) and didn't have enough energy to fly away...it obviously regained energy after a few minutes, jumped/flew on the wall (where I took the picture) - and then finally flew into the trees again. I guess the buddy made it...
