I spotted this dragonfly at the Echo Homestay in the Harau Valley in central Sumatra.

Hi Dan. You might want to consider Crimson Dropwing (Orthetrum testaceum) which is quite common here in South East Asia :-)
I appreciate the suggestion and it looks a lot like it but the range doesn't seem to match with it. Any ideas?
