Description:

Adult in non-breeding plumage. I was trying to get pictures of sanderlings, but this gull was not to be denied his chance in the spotlight.

Habitat:

Spotted in the tropical south on the Gulf coast.

Notes:

The Laughing Gull is protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
