Description:

Green leaves transition to bubblegum pink.

Habitat:

Mountainous area between 5000 ft to 6000 ft elevation.

Well, I couldn't help it, I kept looking for a species. I now have slightly less hair. I've settled on Castilleja linariifolia based on where it was growing as well as its physical characteristics. I'm about 85% sure on the ID.
Thanks for the help Amber and Behn. I've decided to just put it down as Castilleja sp. instead of tearing out my hair trying to figure it out.
Yeah, Castilleja is notoriously difficult to differentiate down to the species, color alone is not reliable. Good luck, this is a really nice pic.
