Field Notes

Description:

This carpet moth was grey with thin wavy lines of brown and a thick line of black through each fore wing. Each submarginal area is bordered by a wavy black line which dips down at the apices.
Wing span was abut 20 mm.

Habitat:

Nature Reserve - native trees and plants.

Notes:

Pic 2 is of a similar moth spotted on 24 Aug 2014 in the same area.
