Description:

These huge birds "are easily recognised by their bold, black and white markings, blue legs, enormous bill with pink pouch and yellow eye-rings." (https://www.dpaw.wa.gov.au/management/marine/marine-parks-wa/fun-facts/… )

Habitat:

Getting ready (pic 1) then taking off from the water's edge amongst some mangroves at the beach, Point Torment, Kimberley. See pic 3
