Field Notes

Description:

Moth, approx 3/4 inch long, orangish-pinkish. Wings had a few small white spots outlined in a darker orange-brown.

Habitat:

Unknown, it was on a windowsill inside a house in the Denver suburbs.

Notes:

The overall effect of the outlined white spots was reminiscent of a Japanese cherry blossom motif.
