Field Notes

Description:

As seen from underneath as the bird flew over head: extended wings that looked black and white and a wedge tail.

Notes:

Saw a wonderfully curious site. While on a walk with my friend and her child we noticed a flock of birds in the distance. As we watched they got closer, while flying in an odd circular patterns. We didn't realize how quickly they were flying until we found ourselves directly underneath the flock. it was quite thrilling to see.
