Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized pine tree, pines come in bundles of 2. The pine cones on the tree are small in size, a few inches in diameter. Very dry and brittle pines.

Habitat:

Found in my backyard. There are a few surrounding plants including a cherry tree and a rose bush.

Notes:

I wasn’t positive on the type. I did some research and the pinus contora was the best fit option for the tree.
