Description:

Yellow body, thorax has an orange hue. Femora have black spots, abdomen has black stripes at the separation of each segment.

Habitat:

Forest

Notes:

When I first saw this mayfly, it reminded me of a praying mantis. Its front legs look almost raptorial at first glance. Found hanging upside down on spicebush at Barbara A. Beiser Field Station.
