Xará, I think this one is a "Borboleta do Maracujá".
There are some moths on that site as well. I have this for African moths http://africanmoths.com/index.html This site isn't bad either. http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/
I've just been looking through it and I totally agree! Do you know a good resource for moths as well?
Thanks. I absolutely love that site! Superb, clear pictures and great first hand information, it's an invaluable resource.
Definitely an interesting site, Dan, thanks for sharing that with us. Rubens, I think you may have a lycorea halia, possibly a subspecies of that native to Brazil. Oh, and it's on a lantana camara flower. :) Great spotting!
Rubens, this website has helped me ID many of my butterflies. It may help with this spotting or future spottings. http://www.learnaboutbutterflies.com/index.htm
