Field Notes

Notes:

We had arrived for our first visit to Kruger and were driving slowly looking at all the animals when we spotted our first group of Ellies (Elephants) they were on the north side of the road, and we were so busy looking at them, that I failed to notice the large bull standing on the south side of the road. As I have said before, they seem to be able to hide in plain sight! The bottom corner of the photo is the drivers side mirror on our rental car. That gives an idea of how close he was.
