Thnaks to everyone!, There are a lot of beautifull flowers in Costa Rica!
beautifully photographed. I spotted the same in Costa Rica http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6319777
I've seen red passionflowers here, as well as the usual purple (in two different colours) and white, but the red never last very long (the plants, I mean). They are beautiful flowers, though, and this shot is just awesome.
Of course it is just my luck that I am living in the northern lats. I know a few people who have the lesser of the purple passion flowers in their yards here. No fruit, no gulf fritillary caterpillars on them
Karen, if you love passionflowers, it's worth seeking out the book Passionflowers by John Vanderplank.
