They were feeding an a species of Vaccinium, probably a low-bush blueberry. The Drexel's Datana fits quite well. Thanks, I really appreciate the ID.
Please verify. Knowing the food plant would be ideal for a more perfect ID.
They are caterpillars in the moth genus Datana. Trying to locate a species fro you right now.
Yes, they really caught my eye when I was walking through the woods.
That's quite a large group of caterpillars, and such a pretty yellow color.
