the black and red ant looks like its poisonones.It has two black antinas and two black eyes.Its looking for food to eat.
Make sure one of these don't sting you. They hurt real bad. Also only the females are wingless. The males have wings.

Thanks for the ID. We use to see a lot of these guys but I think the numbers are decreasing.
Oh awesome finding! This is called a velvet ant, and is actually a kind of wingless wasp! Amazing little things :D
